This year we celebrate our 5th lustrum of good times in the Sports Centre. In 2026 there are six activities on the programme, from live music and bingo to a BBQ and a pub quiz. In 2027 the party continues.
Welcome at
The Sportkantine is the cosy heart of the multifunctional Sports Centre. With a view of your fellow students playing sports, you can drop by for a nice cup of coffee, a refreshing sports drink or a tasty plate of fries. The canteen is managed by the Stichting Kantine Sportcentrum UT (KSUT), and the associations themselves run the bar: every day they provide volunteers who support their own association by working shifts.
With 150 seats, a lounge area and a large, atmospheric bar, the Sportkantine is spacious and suitable for both meetings and socialising. The large, sunny terrace overlooks the sports fields — the perfect place after training or between lectures.

What we offer
The Sportkantine offers a variety of products, from soft drinks to changing specialty beers and from a bag of sweets to a tasty snack. Students get their coffee and tea at a student price.
Events · catering
Graduation drinks, tournaments, team dinners, band nights: we cater for small and large groups, in consultation with you.
Book space for graduation drinks, a team party or a get-together after training, or bring the bar to your tournament.
BBQ packages (vegetarian, gluten-free and halal possible), hot or cold buffets and stamppot buffets.

We are generally closed on official public holidays and during university holidays.
